Those who have real wisdom will usually gain a good reputation from it. It will win them respect, and people will look to them as prudent, serious men whose judgment deserves attention. If you do what is wise and good, you will generally receive praise for it.
Those who join wisdom with a clear and pleasant way of speaking are especially useful. They can share their thoughts easily and with good effect, and they make their wisdom available to others. Good speech, along with good sense, helps increase learning. Such people spread knowledge, do good with it, and in that way increase what they themselves possess. They add to teaching, improve understanding, and serve the wider community of learning. To the one who has, and uses what he has, more will be given.
