auto_stories Bible Guided Commentary

People may use sinful ways to get ahead, but those ways cannot give them lasting security. A person will not be established by wickedness. Sin may lift someone into a high place, but those places are slippery and unsafe (Psalm 73:18). Any success built by sin is like a house on sand. It may stand for a while, but it will not hold.

Good people may have only a little of this world’s goods, but what they have will last. What is honestly gained tends to endure. The root of the righteous will not be moved, even if the branches are shaken. Those who are rooted by faith in Christ are firmly fixed. In him, their comfort and happiness are so deeply rooted that they cannot be uprooted.
