The way of sin is painful and dangerous. In the path of the crooked, the path that goes against God’s will and word, there are thorns and snares. The thorns are grief for past sins, and the snares trap people into more sin. A person who does not care about what he says and does will find that his so-called freedom becomes a burden, and his pleasures end up hurting him.
Quick-tempered people bring trouble on themselves at every turn. Everything will upset the person who is always upset by everything. But the way of duty is safe and easy. The one who guards his soul, who carefully watches his own heart and conduct, stays far from those thorns and snares, because his path is clear and pleasant.
