About the United Methodist Church Tradition

The United Methodist Church is a global denomination rooted in the teachings of John Wesley, who emphasized personal holiness and social responsibility. United Methodists believe in God's grace at every stage of life and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to the communion table. With a strong tradition of education, healthcare, and missions, UMC congregations seek to make disciples who transform the world through acts of justice, mercy, and love.
