About the Southern Baptist Convention Tradition

The Southern Baptist Convention is the largest Protestant denomination in the United States, united by a passion for sharing the Gospel and a deep commitment to the authority of Scripture. SBC churches are independently governed and cooperate voluntarily to support missions, disaster relief, and theological education. Worship styles vary from traditional hymns to contemporary praise, but every congregation shares a focus on personal faith in Jesus Christ and believer's baptism.
