About the Vineyard Tradition

Vineyard churches are part of a global movement that blends evangelical theology with an openness to the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit. Founded by John Wimber, the Vineyard is known for intimate worship music, a relational approach to ministry, and a conviction that every believer can be used by God to serve and heal others. Congregations tend to be warm, accessible, and focused on doing the works of the Kingdom in practical, everyday ways.
