But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.

This chapter continues and finishes the story of Hezekiah’s reign.
1. It tells of Sennacherib’s invasion, and of Hezekiah’s care to strengthen himself, his city, and the people’s courage against that enemy (2 Chronicles 32:1-8).
2. It then records Sennacherib’s proud and blasphemous letters and messages to Hezekiah (2 Chronicles 32:9-19).
3. It shows God’s clear answer to Sennacherib’s insults and to Hezekiah’s prayers, in the complete defeat of the Assyrian army, to Sennacherib’s shame and Hezekiah’s honor (2 Chronicles 32:20-23).
4. Finally, it tells of Hezekiah’s sickness and recovery, his sin and recovery from that sin, and the honors that came to him in life and after his death (2 Chronicles 32:24-33).
