Some think this chapter is the darkest part of all this prophecy. It is very likely that the things described here have not yet been fulfilled. So it is wiser to stay with general observations than to be too certain or detailed in explaining it.
Here we read, first, of Satan being bound for a thousand years (Revelation 20:1-3). Second, we read of the saints reigning with Christ for the same period (Revelation 20:4-6). Third, we read of Satan being let loose again, and of the church’s conflict with Gog and Magog (Revelation 20:7-10). Finally, we read of the day of judgment (Revelation 20:11 and following).
