This is only part of a chapter. The rest of it, starting at verse 4, along with six more chapters, is found only in the Greek version and is rejected as apocryphal, that is, not part of the true biblical text.
In these three verses, we get only brief hints about two things. First, we see Ahasuerus on his throne, and learn how powerful a king he was (Esther 10:1, Esther 10:2). Second, we see Mordecai, the king’s favorite, and how great a blessing he was to his people (Esther 10:2, Esther 10:3).
