Cassidy was raised on a cattle ranch just outside Lubbock, Texas. Her daddy was a rodeo champ, her mama a Sunday school teacher. From a young age, Cassidy was splitting her time between the barn and the Bible. When she was 17, she gave her first testimony at a youth revival — and never stopped speaking truth since. She moved to Arizona in her twenties, drawn by the peace of the desert and a calling to help women rebuild their lives through faith, scripture, and self-reliance. Today, she runs a nonprofit ministry for women recovering from trauma and addiction, while also posting online devotionals that mix Scripture with practical, boots-on-the-ground advice.
